Great season for the Dawgs!July 9, 2011 11:05 am
The Huskies had a great year winning back to back Pac-10 championships. Isaiah Thomas hitting that clutch shot against Arizona was amazing! I will miss him and good luck with the Kings. What I wont miss from him is his size and sometimes bad decision making. I think Tony Wrotten Jr. should more than make up for his absence. I though I.T. played much better with Venoy out of the lineup during the Pac-10 tourney. I wish Venoy was benched for that Carolina game. Either way with UNC shooting 20 more free throws in their own backyard, it was going to be hard to win. Screw the refs though, it's a new year this year. What the heck is wrong with Venoy Overton anyway? That kid just doesn't know how badly he is ruining his life. Hopefully he gets his act together soon. The Dawgs played a great game. They for the start of the second half and built a fair-sized lead. They gave the lead away by playing some sloppy ball, but as good teams do, they showed tremendous heart and came back and took the lead, a lead they never gave up.
